Future-proof multi-user logistics at Meyer logistics
Meyer logistics, the forwarding and logistics services company based in Willich, specialises in part and full loads. In addition, it has many years of experience in warehouse management with customised services.
In order to continue offering its customers tailor-made logistics solutions in the future, the family-owned company relies on the expertise of w3logistics AG.
The customers' individual processes were seamlessly integrated into the new w3/max software, which also significantly improved user-friendliness for key users. In order to achieve a high degree of process automation, Meyer logistics' internal processes were further optimised within the scope of this project, in addition to the realisation of interfaces to the customers' ERP systems.
The key users now have a freely configurable dashboard at their disposal to directly see the KPIs live at a glance, trigger follow-up processes and get an overview as quickly as possible.
Another highlight is the implementation of gamification in multi-user logistics. Meyer warehouse employees are given the opportunity to voluntarily participate in an internal anonymised competition and earn bonus points. This bonus system is fully integrated into the PDT dialogue workflow and not only boosts morale and productivity, but also the satisfaction of Meyer logistics' end customers.
The new customer web portal developed as part of the project also offers real added value for everybody involved. With this, Meyer logistics enables its customers to get a daily updated overview of their goods in the warehouse and to follow the individual work processes live.
"With w3logistics, we have found the partner who understands the requirements of multi-user logistics, implements new requirements quickly and reliably and will go innovative ways together with us," says commercial warehouse manager Jennifer Herrmann.
"The joint design and optimisation of internal warehouse processes worked very well as a team with Meyer logistics. We were able to optimally combine our know-how and design suitable solutions for Meyer logistics," reports project manager Guido Müller from w3logistics AG.
