Coldstore Hengelo will be running w3/max
The warehouse management solution w3/max is already running successfully at two different subsidiaries – following the warehouses in Oer-Erkenschwick and Hamm, w3/max is now being introduced at the headquarters of the Dutch deep freeze logistics expert Coldstore Hengelo B.V. in Hengelo, the Netherlands.
The decisive factor for this step was positive experience at the first two locations, which have been running the software of w3logistics AG from Dortmund for three and five years respectively.
Using paperless picking with mobile radio, integration of scales, and automatic data exchange with customers, efficiency and quality could be increased considerably. The integration of new customers could easily be achieved because of w3/max' multi-client capability and its flexible expandability. Customer loyalty was increased by provision of online access to stock information and exact implementation of requirements for storage and picking.
Other important arguments for the use of w3/max at this third location are the high degree of maturity of the software and the available functional range, which fulfills all the requirements of a deep freeze logistics provider. For this reason expenses and implementation time are extremely low.
"At the end of November of this year we will already be able to work with modern IT in Hengelo, too – this is what we agreed on with w3logistics, and because of our long term cooperation we know that we can rely on them", Hans Jansen, managing partner of Coldstore B.V., is happy to say.
