Frozen food logistics with software by w3logistics
In its 22 years on the market, w3logistics AG has acquired a great deal of know-how about deep-freeze and food logistics and can provide many references in the industry.
The warehouse management system w3/max by w3logistics is already in use at a number of cold stores, such as Coldstore Hamm GmbH, Gelato Classico, Thüringer Kühlhäuser GmbH, Coldstore Hengelo B.V. and other companies in the industry. Through all these projects, w3logistics knows the special features and problems of deep-freeze logistics and can therefore approach the projects effectively and efficiently.
As a software specialist for the frozen food industry, w3logistics offers standard features as well as special functionalities for this particular type of storage, such as
- faster traceability of any batches
- more efficient types of invoicing (storage money, service invoicing, etc.)
- acceleration of processes through item-specific work lists
- single-item tracking and block storage management
- faster processes through special documents (trade and veterinary lists, etc.)
In addition, the Dortmund-based company is a member of the Verband Deutscher Kühlhäuser und Kühllogistikunternehmen e.V. (VDKL), a trade association for food companies involved in the temperature-controlled storage, distribution and logistics of frozen and fresh foods.
Together with the Deutsches Tiefkühlinstitut (dti), the VDKL organises the "Kälteforum" event, which brings together up to 200 experts from the frozen food industry with specialist presentations and exciting company visits.
The 16th Kälteforum will take place from 15 to 16 November 2022 in Osnabrück, and of course w3logistics AG will also be there.
