125 years of Kaufhof - with logistic support from w3logistics
When a traditional company like Kaufhof is 125 years old, this calls
for a celebration.
This anniversary party was a way of saying thank you to all the staff
and paved the way for a successful future for Galeria Kaufhof.
Almost 20.000 employees from all over Germany and Belgium came to the
RheinEnergieStadium in Cologne on August 15, 2004.
The simultaneous journey to the stadium from almost 100 different
towns and cities was comfortably achieved using almost 450 coaches.
On board was the proven telematics solution from w3logistics.
This time, however, it was not used for tracking and tracing
containers or packages, but to show the route taken by the coaches.
As Mathias Sondermann, the logistics coordinator from the organizing
agency max.sense Live Marketing put it: "We were able to fulfill our
requirements for absolute transparency and high quality customer

of the status of all coaches and guests without the need for a large
call center and expensive technology."
