w3logistics at the CeMAT 2014

From May 19 - 23, the CeMAT fair in Hanover is taking place under the motto "Smart - Integrated - Efficient". Against the background of global integration and networking there is increasing demand for smart automation solutions. This year's show will focus on intralogistics products which provide the basis for a more efficient integration of all relevant systems.

w3logistics AG from Dortmund participates in the fair as an exhibitor. Together with the University Duisburg Essen and other companies involved, the research project "TiLO" ("Tracing of intelligent logistic objects") will be presented.

With "TiLO" it is possible to operate warehouses without scanners, while not having to waive the advantages of a solution using scanners. Basis for this is the implementation of a newly developed camera based analysis system. This system focusses on the information extraction from moving and still images of the warehouse and the storage places in real time. Using the extracted information, all logistic operations as for example storage or retrieval of goods are recognized, automatically linked to all relevant additional information and booked. The booking and management of all warehousing data is handled by the warehouse management system w3/max by w3logistics AG.

The presentation of the project at the CeMAT will be done with a 2 x 2.5 m sized model and is also projected on monitors.

w3logistics AG looks forward to your visit!
