Outstanding personnel management
w3logistics AG has always set a high value on an exemplary human resources management. The company was now awarded by the "New Deals" initiative.
More than 130 guests attended the awards ceremony at ThyssenKrupp Info Centre Dortmund, where Mrs. Jutta Reiter, chairman of DGB-Region Dortmund-Hellweg and Mr. Thomas Schäfer of Einzelhandelsverband Westfalen-Münsterland e. V. handed over the "Dortmund Personnel Management Price 2011" to the 14 laureate companies.
Since 2003, "New Deals" awards this price for innovative concepts for holistically and modern personnel management. Initiators of "New Deals" are, amongst others, the Employment Agency Dortmund, the association of German unions, the retail association, the chamber of crafts, the chamber of commerce and industry, the communal business development Dortmund, and the federation of industrial enterprises Dortmund.
Of w3logistics strategies, especially the comprehensive trainings, the flat hierarchy, high transparency and communication density regarding current developments in the company, as well as flexible working hours and working time on trust were able to convince the jury. That the measurements of staff management are coherent is proved by the fluctuation, which has been constantly low for years.
