This way a stock-taking that is independent of the individual storage areas can easily be implemented. In the manual storage areas the workers of KHS Corpoplast are guided through the inventory by the system. The automatized areas of the warehouse will automatically be accessed after a successful computation of the basic population and the articles can be counted immediately.
Considerably reduced stock-taking times
An intelligent user guiding system makes sure that miscounting is minimized during stock-taking, and that the time needed is minimized. After counting has finished all the stock levels are available in w3logistics' WMS and can be transmitted to the ERP system. Complex data transfers between various software systems are no longer necessary, so that KHS Corpoplast can automatically book all stock differences in a single system. During the whole inventory sampling procedure, the inventory module only blocks the articles in the warehouse which are part of the basic population, it is no longer necessary to stop the whole warehouse.
