w3/max connects customers via web
With the warehouse management system w3/max, w3logistics AG offers a modern warehouse management suite. The WMS by the software company from Dortmund supports all standard warehousing processes, of course. The current version now also includes a web application.
The web interface features three major areas: At first, the current stock levels can be accessed anywhere and anytime. The customer thus gets a report of the most important information on stock levels of the goods in the warehouse so that planning and scheduling can be supported optimally.
Secondly, the web interface supports comprehensive controlling functionality, so that prompt and quick actions are made possible by means of up-to-date reports and operating figures of the warehouse. This supports not only the companys lean management strategies, but also saves resources in the form of paper and manpower.
Thirdly, the order entry can also be handled via the web interface. Orders no longer have to be sent by mail or fax and be manually re-entered into the system, but can directly be placed into the WMS by the customer. All in all this leads to a much faster order processing.
