w3/max – material flow for all cases
w3/max is also the right solution when it comes to controlling an automated storage system.
The material flow component of the logistics suite from w3logistics supports a wide range of conveyor technologies. Even mixed operation, the most diverse storage technologies and different manufacturers are no problem, as numerous customer installations impressively prove:
Automated high-bay warehouses
Classic high-bay warehouses supplied by stacker cranes are part of the standard scope of the material flow component of w3/max. w3logistics has integrated such systems for example at Sahm in Höhr-Grenzhausen, at Cosmolux in Luxembourg and at Hera in Enger.
Mobile racking
Especially in the frozen food industry automatic mobile racks are standard. No problem for w3/max: successfully proven for years at Coldstore Hamm.
Shuttle warehouse
With the control of shuttle warehouses from various manufacturers
(compact high-bay warehouses that bring the goods to the person),
isolated solutions can be avoided and these systems can be fully
integrated into the WMS software. This is successfully practised at
KHS
in Hamburg, for example.
Before the software is put into operation, the
w3/max
conveyor
simulator offers the possibility to already test all functions of the
material flow system well and to train the users so that unpleasant
surprises are avoided at the actual start of operations.
In real operation, the warehouse technology can then be monitored with the visualisation, which is also an optional component of the w3/max system.
