Already for the seventh time the German Testing Day took place in Frankfurt at the beginning of June. Testers from home and abroad met again to learn new things and to discuss their problems and experiences with like-minded people.

Also present were our colleagues Elena Nossova and Thomas Ronzon, who in their well-attended presentation with almost 160 participants reported on the possibility of generating automated use case regression tests with integrated generation of internationalized user documentation.

The simple idea of the procedure developed by w3logistics: The description of the test cases, which has already been created during application development, is also used to generate user documentation in the user's language. The automation ensures that the user always has up-to-date documentation available, because the time-consuming manual maintenance - especially when documents have to be created in different languages - is no longer necessary.

Elena Nossova and Thomas Ronzon presented not only the principles of the process but also its implementation using an example directly from practice.

Thomas Omerzu, CEO of w3logistics AG: "Conferences like the German Testing Day enable us to present the results of our research and development work to a larger specialist audience. The selection of the presentations by a panel of experts guarantees the highest quality. In addition, it's our contribution to the community."
