Your employee confirms his arrival and departure at the customer on
the touch-screen of his mobile handheld computer (MDE). Taking over of
shipments, ordering of spare parts: Your employee receipts with a
single scan or a short touch at a line of an option list - in every
case without manual input! And when your employee has finished his
work, your customer can sign - directly on the display. The handheld
computers works on-line, or with a local database. In all cases,
w3logistics takes care of the data exchange - automatically, while
your employee is on his way to the next customer.
When are MDEs most suitable?
MDEs are especially suitable if your employee has to enter data
manually often - e. g. with consumables or shipment
information.
The possibility to work off-line offers further fields
of application: Your employee does not necessarily need access to a
mobile network at the place he uses the device - or, you can easily
save telecommunication costs by transferring data only if
required.
