w3/max S.N.A.P. Light supports Wilo

Documentation of securely loaded cargo with w3/max S.N.A.P. Light

WILO SE is regarded a premium supplier for building technology, water management and industry. The company is located at four production sites in Germany and employs over 2,800 people. It manufactures pumps and pump systems for heating, cooling and air conditioning technology, water supply as well as waste water disposal and cleaning. With the support of the w3/max S.N.A.P. Light application from w3logistics AG, processes at the Wilo Group's Hof plant are now optimised.

The application is used in the fields of repair and logistics. The software is applied in the repair of incoming goods, outgoing goods and analysis on the one hand, and in logistics in the areas of packaging, load securing and warehousing on the other. All customer-specific requirements were taken into account so that w3/max S.N.A.P. Light has been perfectly adapted to Wilo.

The image documentation solution allows standardized documentation, control and monitoring of incoming goods, outgoing goods and freight shipments, as well as support of quality management. WILO SE uses w3/max S.N.A.P. Light as a tablet solution for the digital capture of images.

The application includes all functions for collecting the data, for example the article number or order number and for capturing the corresponding photos. All recorded data is linked to the respective photos, sorted by area and stored by the mobile device in a network directory. The data is directly available and can be further processed efficiently. The automation of logistical processes and a high process speed enable enormous time savings.

"w3/max S.N.A.P. Light offers us real added value by integrating the processes into the workflow and remains easy to use and user-friendly despite its versatile types of application," report Christoph Schieb, shift manager at the WILO SE Hof plant and Heiko Preißner, Head of Repair at the Wilo SE Hof plant.
